EXECUTIVE BIOS

Oliver Wyss, Director and Founder
Oliver was born and raised in Switzerland and started his professional career at age 15. He was selected for the Swiss Youth National Team where he represented his country in over 30 International games. At age 22 he was diagnosed with severe Aplastic Anemia, a rare bone marrow failure, which ended his playing career. After a complete recovery he founded the Soccer for Hope organization and he is the reason people believe in our organization. Oliver currently runs a Sports Management Corporation and directs a successful youth soccer program.

Jamie Wyss, Co-Founder
Jamie was a professional dancer, taught at Orange County High School of the Arts and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She is the co-founder of Soccer for Hope and is the driving force behind the organization. Her tremendous dedication has greatly contributed to its success and knows first hand what families are experiencing in the hospital setting. She was the main caregiver for Oliver during his BMT as well as the parent of two children with cancer. She continues to share her passion by helping families and communities understand why pediatric cancer should be brought to the surface. www.hudsonandabella.org

Kathleen Deane, Office Manager
Kathleen is a former Disney Executive, a Red Cross Representative for the Resort and a parent of two boys who play club soccer. She handles most of the administrative tasks and runs the office based in Laguna Hills, CA. She is instrumental by facilitating our events and coordinating the many aspects of our organization. We are truly grateful for all her effort and dedication.

Ryan Gauss, Webmaster
Ryan has handled the SFH website for the past five years and has truly done a fantastic job for us. He currently works as Search Engine Optimization Specialist for an internet automotive company and is the father of 2 young girls. He also sits on the ‘Chat with God’ board, a non-profit company dedicated to distributing prayer journals around the world.
