Testimonials From the Children

We have been fortunate to help so many children in so many different ways.
The following messages are from the children and their families…

"To some of us, camp is a place filled with friendship, good feelings and care. But camp is a memory that will never be lost. All the good times we spend here, our laughter, our courage, go with us wherever we go. I guess the best thing about camp is the people and the love we share."
Peter Riley - 21, Medulloblastoma & Meningioma

"I am thankful for having such great experiences I had never dreamed of before. I was able to watch Chivas USA from the suite and was given a jersey signed by my favorite player, Claudio Suarez. Thank you Soccer For Hope for making my fight against cancer a better journey."
Martin Ceja - 14, Leukemia

"I think that SFH is nice, so now kids like me can have fun at camp too. And I met new friends and had fun fishing. I like SFH…"
Regina Tan - 9, PNET

"I LOVE SFH! Thank you for letting me learn new soccer tricks from Mia Hamm. She is the BEST!"
Abella Wyss - 5, Choroid Plexus Carcinoma & Glioma

"I loved being together with our children without thinking of any problems - being in a camp which showed love and unity and making new friends. This is unforgettable for my family. Thank you for being so important in our lives, We Can."
Family for Kevin Vargas - 6, Medulloblastoma

"Camp is a time for us to connect with families that understand what we have been through. It's a time to not feel alone and to take a break from daily routine. It is also a special, fun trip for our son Michael that we hope to do every year."
Gates Family - 2, Eependymoma
