Soccer for Hope has reached a new level by donating to an organization called Ministry of Hope based in Malawi, Africa. They are a community-based response for meeting the physical and spiritual needs of orphaned children providing hope as they minister to them. Soccer for Hope was pleased to donate shirts, soccer balls, jerseys, hats, gently used shoes and other fun giveaways. This program was sponsored by Hyundai as well as other families who donated much needed soccer equipment. The children and young adults were so thrilled to get new team uniforms and new gear sent over from America. But more touching is that the children in Africa felt blessed to know that children in other parts of the world cared about them.
Ministry of Hope are primarily committed to making a difference in the lives of these children. However, they also work with widows, the disabled, and the destitute, by ministering to their physical needs and in the process, helping them find the true and everlasting HOPE. Their current projects include a Crisis Nursery, Feeding Centers, Educational Support, a Widows program and Evangelism & Discipleship. We were able to make a small financial gift for their continued good work for their ongoing ministries that reach thousands of lives.
