Mission Viejo Annual Camp & Inspiration Walk

The Soccer For Hope Camp was again a huge success and raised over $75,000! We had over 300 kids participate in the camp and had the following Celebrities working with the kids: Mia Hamm, Joe Max Moore, Ante Razov, Sacha Kljestan, Raphael Wicky and the entire CHIVAS USA team.

Thank you to the following Colleges who participated this year:
LMU Men's, UCI Men & Women's, CSUDH Men's, CSUF Women

Thank you KOCE for filming such an informative and touching segment at our camp this year!

This camp is the perfect combination of soccer skill training and valuable life lessons. Designed for girls and boys ages 6 - 13, the skills taught at these events are based on each child's level of development. Kids train with professional players from Europe and the US, coaches from nationally ranked college teams and local club coaches - all volunteers for Soccer for Hope. Celebrity players are always a highlight and come to train, perform demonstrations, sign autographs and more importantly express their commitment to helping children.

SFH Camp is an annual event held in Mission Viejo, CA and annually attracts more than 300 kids. Each day a Division 1 College attends to coach the kids and be an example of what volunteering truly is all about. The Inspiration Walk is held on the last day of camp and brings together the campers, their families and community leaders for a walk through the Oso Trails. It's truly one of the most important ways to remind everyone of their gift of health and remembering the children who are in the hospital and those that have passed away. Concluding the week we usually have a young patient speaker, a Bone Marrow Drive and other fun activities. Our main goal at this event is to not only raise funds for pediatric cancer but to educate the young participants about cancer, and that they need to be respectful of other children with medical challenges.

What a great opportunity to learn, help others and have fun!

Soccer for Hope Lemonade Stand
Lemonade Stand
Abella Wyss and her twin best friends, Caitlin & Emma, held a Lemonade Stand/ Snack Bar all five days at the MV Camp. They wanted to do their part and raise money for "kids with cancer". After training ended the participants and their parents bought lemonade & goodies and at the end of the week the girls raised an amazing $837.42. We are so proud of them for their determination and effort to raise funds along side of us!!!
Mia, thank you so much for showing the girls what the true definition of charity really is.
